Hey friends! I hope you’re all staying safe and doing well at home. We have been busy homeschooling and trying to get some work done in between lessons. I’ve been checking things off my to-do list one by one over the weekends. One of the projects I’ve been wanting to work on for a while is the playroom. I partnered with Photowall to add this wallpaper accent wall in the kids playroom and absolutely love how it turned out! Read to the bottom for a 25% discount code for you!

This room in our home is considered the playroom since it’s where I try to keep most of the toys. Although full disclosure the toys are currently all over the floor, out the door and down the hall. But nobody wants to see the tornado the kids have created upstairs so I cleaned it up a bit for this post. =) The bunk beds are perfect for when cousins or friends sleep over and eventually when the kids are older we may let one of them move in here so they can all have their own rooms. Maddy keeps asking to move in but come bed time neither one of the little ones want to sleep in a room by themselves.

This is the first project I’ve done using actual wallpaper and I have to say it was so much easier than I thought it would be! I sent photowall the measurements of my wall and they sent my wallpaper labeled and organized in rolls as well as everything I needed to install it. I was able to get everything up and finished over the weekend. It feels so good to get projects completed!

I found this vintage dresser on Facebook marketplace several years ago and the mirror is perfect for when the kids play dress up. I switched out the hardware for something a little more kid friendly. The curtains are actually one panel I found on clearance at Target. I cut it in half and sewed another seam down the side to make two since I could not for the life of me find another one in the longer length.

I chose the woods multi wallpaper in premium for this project.  The quality is amazing and has held up wonderfully so far with the kids playing in here. The colors were perfect for this room and I think the pattern is so cute! The walls have been gray since we moved in and I had always planned on painting the kids rooms at some point. I will probably change up the grey for a different color later down the road.

I try to keep things organized with toy storage in this cubby, in bins under the bed and in the closet. But now that the kids are home  it pretty much looks like a tornado hit by the end of the day. The little hexagon shelves I found at Hobby Lobby a few years ago but didn’t love the pattern on the back or the color of the wood. I painted them using left over chalk paint and cut and taped different paper to the back of each shelf using double sided tape.

I used a push pin to hang this little frame up. It was given to me at my baby shower for Adele over six years ago and can’t bring myself to get rid of it yet. Six is still a baby right? =)
