I know what you must be thinking right now. “Is this becoming a food blog?” And the answer is…. NO. =) I’m not that good of a cook. I do have some fun tutorials coming up and have been busy planning Claire’s birthday party for next month. And…
Come back tomorrow for some exciting news.
But until then here is a recipe for an amazingly easy recipe for those nights when you want something quick and easy for dinner. It’s meant to be a side dish but we just eat it by itself with some salad when I’m in a pinch. This recipe came from Matt’s grandma and in my recipe book it’s called Grandma’s Mac and Cheese but for today I renamed it the Modest Macaroni.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups elbow macaroni noodles
- Tomato sauce (about 21 oz.) You could also use spaghetti sauce
- Cheese I usually use a mixture of cheddar and mozzarella
- I like to add some Italian seasonings and garlic salt to taste
