I had a great time visiting my sister and her family a couple weeks ago and today I’m sharing with you one of the finished rooms in their new house! Nursery’s are always so fun to decorate and when it’s for a girl… pure bliss! You can never have enough pink and ruffles!
She chose aqua and pink for her color scheme and has so many fun accent pieces in this room! I love all of the little elephants, chevron touches and plenty of ruffles! I think my favorite is the crystal chandelier!
(Swoon!)
She used the wall decor I made for her elephant baby shower above the changing table. The scrapbook paper letters are made from chipboard and dressed up with scrapbook paper.
Sara made this hair bow holder herself using an empty picture frame and ribbon… the perfect place to display all Ava’s hair accessories.
I made the ruffle table skirt for this little end table just before I left for CA.
She ordered the white ruffled curtains online.
We found this fabulous chippy letter at an antique shop in town and picked up a couple different ones to use in other places around the house.
These photos are from Sara’s maternity photo shoot and some of them will probably be replaced with baby photos when she gets all of Ava’s portraits back in a few days.
Here is a peak at one of the pictures from Ava’s photo shoot.

Do you have a tutorial for that adorable ruffle table skirt?
Hey Crystal! I'm sorry I don't have a tutorial for that one. I made it late at night and in a hurry since I was trying to get it finished before I left to see my sister. Hopefully I will get a chance to make something similar in the future and will be sure to do a tutorial on it!
Do you know what color the walls are?
Love everything about this!! Color of the walls and bedding???
Thanks Julie! The paint is from Lowe's but she can't remember what the name of it is so I'm sorry about that. The bedding is custom made using Premier Prints fabrics. You can purchase the fabrics from fabric.com
