- Scrapbook paper
- White card stock
- Number printables (1-20 found here) (21-25 found here) or you could use stickers
- Adhesive of choice. I used a glue stick and tape
- Mini clothes pins
- Matching ribbon or rick rack
- Map pins or tacks
Next, I measured and cut my card stock into 3″x6″ pieces. You will need 25.
I glued the scrapbook paper squares to the front of the pockets. Then, arranged them in the order I wanted and glued my numbers onto the top.
I printed out our list of activities onto white paper and cut them out using my 2″ scallop circle punch. I taped the ribbon to the back of each circle. You could also punch a circle in the top with a hole punch and tie the ribbon on. Then tuck the circles with each activity into a pocket. Some of our activities have gotten shuffled around a little and that’s ok. We try to be flexible. Some of them are just little activities like drink hot chocolate and watch a Christmas movie or camp out in front of the tree.
I hung my rick rack in the breakfast area using map pins and clipped the pockets to the rick rack with the mini clothes pins.
One of the activities on our list was ice skating since our city has a new outdoor ice skating rink and we had a blast trying it out this past weekend.
This was Claire’s first time skating and she did pretty well after she got the hang of it!
What fun traditions do you like to do around the holidays?
